Suspenden el último acto de una representación en el Met, por motivos de seguridad
Sin mediar más explicaciones, y de acuerdo con el protocolo de seguridad, se ha suspendido el cuarto acto del Guillaume Tell de Rossini en el Metropolitan de Nueva York, al que ha acudido la policía para una inspección de seguridad. Al parecer, testigos han reportado la presencia de alguna sustancia sin identificar que ha sido arrojada al foso. Las informaciones son todavía confusas e incompletas.
El teatro ha emitido el siguiente comunicado a las 23.47 horas:
Today’s performance of Guillaume Tell was canceled during the second intermission because of a disturbance by an audience member, who sprinkled an unidentified powdered substance into the orchestra pit. The NYPD is investigating the incident.
As a safety precaution, the Met canceled the remainder of the performance. The audience was advised that there was a technical issue and that the performance was canceled. They should contact the Met’s Customer Care department at (212) 362-6000 to make arrangements to see Guillaume Tell on another date.
